Alisia treats everyone as an individual with a unique set of needs and develops a treatment plan based on each person's specific situation. She primarily uses myofascial release and trigger-point therapy while incorporating many other modalities into her style of treatment. Deep tissue work is used when indicated and preferred, but Alisia ultimately chooses a depth of pressure based on what the muscle tissue and the specific individual requires.
Prevention and relief from repetitive strain injuries, pregnancy and postnatal massage and sport-related injury are a few of Alisia's most commonly treated concerns. Her mission is to restore and maintain balance within the body and achieve an optimal level of health and function of body tissues.
To compliment her practice as an RMT, Alisia is currently pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree in nursing at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
